he I think why he kept it a secret beacauseis if he told her she would have asced him a lot of questions that he could not tell her and then that would lead to more drama for them to deal with.
I think that his superstitious have got the best of him i think/hope that his fear is making him meaner bacause if hedid not have these fears he might be a nicer person. i think he adds a littel fear to the book, I even like him as a person in the book.

Moo Kept his ability secret from Meggie because he thought if he told her about his power she would always be asking him to read Winnie-the-Pooh out of his srory. 2. mo never told Meggie about her mom because she wouldn't beleive him.
